Across the pond in the US, premium manufacturer Klutch Wheels have been killing the game for the past five-plus years, with a portfolio of wheels that range from retro inspired to flat-faced and the deepest of deep dish.
Klutch Wheels have built up a huge cult following with hundreds of thousands of fans from all corners of the globe desperate to catch a glimpse of the firm’s latest offering. Thanks to their intricate wheel designs, huge array of colours and finishes and of course a sensible list of available fitments the love for this top-end, and suitably cool wheel brand gathers pace daily – emphasised by the colossal buzz surrounding them on social media.
It is perhaps Klutch’s ability to cater to much of the retro scene, predominantly the JDM market, (cars that originated in Japan), that has been one of the root catalysis of success but, you’ll also find that some rather high profile figures within the VAG community that have taken Klutch’s offerings to heart, and we’ve seen some killer builds featuring the stunning KM16, KM50 and SL1.
Klutch wheels are still relatively new here in the UK, and that’s why TUX Auto were so keen to secure their distribution.
We expect Klutch Wheels’ popularity to continue to rise over the coming years, especially if they keep releasing wheels like they have been! We spotted the firm a few years back as their wheels popped up on some of the more serious customisers’ vehicles. As they started to take a foothold in the US, we wanted a piece, even more so because they are still relative unknown here in the UK. We know our customers are after the world’s most exclusive wheels well before they start to appear in the UK or throughout Europe.e.
